As you may be aware, we are experiencing constant disk space shortage. To address this issue, disk quotas have been introduced for user home folders. Each user is entitled to 100 Gb of disk space. You can exceed this amount by 20Gb for 6 days. After that you may no longer add files to your home folder until you clean it below 100Gb threshold.
You can look check how much your home folder is consuming here: http://zeus.coventry.ac.uk/space.php
or executing the command
du -sh /home/$USER
Quotas’ status is updated here: http://zeus.coventry.ac.uk/quotas.txt
