Crucial:
for user names always use University user ID, its easier to track expired users afterwards.
Answer all questions which script will ask.
- the script will first ask for LDAP admin password,
- then new user password (twice).
- Then confirm new user id (just type in the created new USER ID from above output) for compatibility between LDAP UID and NFS file servers UIDs, where home folder will be created.
- Finally slurm sacctmgr will add new user to the PhD account (default permissions in the queue).
- Lastly the script will ask to enter new password (e.g. qwerty) to try login in to one of the login nodes with new user name. Once that succeeds, type “exit” to return to admin node.
